Steven will be pursuing his licensure in middle school humanities as he begins the Associate Teacher Program this fall. In 2018, Steven graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont with a B.A. in media studies, journalism, and digital arts. Steven has spent the last year substitute teaching at all grade levels at Seton Catholic Central, located in Plattsburgh, New York. While substituting at his alma mater, Steven developed a love of teaching in the field of English language arts and history. He enjoyed teaching students new vocabulary and engaging with students during what was surely an unpredictable, yet fulfilling school year. In his free time, Steven enjoys running, reading, and playing his guitar. He is very excited to make the move to the area and begin the next chapter of his professional journey at Belmont Day School.

Three Thoughts:
My Capstone Project would be... something related to my passion for music.

If I could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive), I would choose... Joe Strummer, Albert Camus, or Ernest Hemingway.

If I could give a student one quality, it would be... open mindedness.
