Admissions Open House for Pre-kindergarten to Grade 8
Sunday, October 18, 2026, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – for pre-k through grade 2 only
10:30 to 11 a.m. – optional information fair for all grades
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – for grades 3 to 8 only
Come see Belmont Day School’s beautiful campus and meet faculty and administrators. Student ambassadors will lead guided campus tours, and our dedicated faculty will share insights into their classrooms and curriculum. You will also have the opportunity to hear from our head of school, who will facilitate a panel of student and alumni speakers. You can also engage with faculty and specialists on a wide variety of topics related to our program, such as music ensembles, the After School Program, and high school placement, at our information fair. Prospective students* and any other guests who may benefit from getting to know our school better are welcome to attend.
*You know your child best. If you think they would enjoy a guided campus visit, a seated panel presentation, and mingling with other prospective students and families, please bring them along. If you have questions about whether the experience will be suitable for your child, please reach out.
Friday Night Lights
Friday, October 23, 2026, 6 to 8:45 p.m.
Prospective families with applicants to grades 3 to 7 are invited to our annual varsity girls’ and boys’ soccer match under the lights at Harvard’s Jordan Field. The evening is a vibrant celebration of our athletics program and community, with faculty, families, and alumni all turning out to support the teams. We will provide detailed directions to those who register.
Breakfast for Prospective Pre-kindergarten Parents
Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Join us to enjoy light breakfast bites and coffee while learning about the pillars of our pre-kindergarten program. Hear directly from faculty and parents during an informative presentation, get your questions answered, and experience a glimpse into our vibrant pre-k classroom. This event is for parents and guardians only.

STEAM Expo
Thursday, February 25, 2027, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Join us for this fun and interactive event. Our sixth and seventh grade student scientists will showcase projects to demonstrate how BDS approaches teaching and learning STEAM through an iterative process of experimentation and exploration. Activities geared toward all grade levels will be available
