Join for a 30-minute live online information session led by admissions office staff. All webinars will include a Q&A portion.
On-campus Admissions Open House for Pre-k to Grade 8
Sunday, October 16, 2022, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Families will be invited to visit campus at a specific time depending on their student’s grade level. Registration is required and the time of attendance will be shared upon registration.
Come see Belmont Day School’s beautiful campus and meet faculty and administrators. Student ambassadors will provide tours of campus and our dedicated faculty will be available to share insights into their curriculum. You will also have a chance to hear from our head of school and a panel of student speakers. Prospective students are welcome and be sure to bring along your questions.
Virtual Lower School Diversity Consortium
Wednesday, November 16, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The Lower School Diversity Consortium (LSDC) brings together select Boston-area independent schools that are committed to reaching out to African-American and Latinx families as schools that welcome and value a multitude of perspectives. As members of the LSDC, we are confident in our schools’ commitment to diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices and in the transformational educational experience that each of our schools provides. We welcome African-American and Latinx families to join us to hear from Belmont Day School parent and trustee Sharra Owens-Schwartz who will be on the panel along with other parents and trustees who all made the choice to enroll their Black and Brown children in independent schools. Virtual Admissions Open House for Pre-k to Grade 8
Saturday, November 19, 2022, 9 to 10:30 a.m. with optional Q&A sessions from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m. | Registration is required.
Join us online to learn about Belmont Day’s curriculum and educational philosophy. Our knowledgeable and expert faculty will share their unique approaches to engaging students. They will provide a glimpse into how they guide each student on their educational journey—from overall skill development, research, public speaking, and more—that ultimately culminates in each eighth grader’s Capstone project and presentation. You will also hear from our head of school, administrators, and a panel of student speakers. We look forward to connecting with you.
All About Athletics: An Evening with Our Athletics Department and Student Athletes – Virtual Event

What makes our athletics program like no other? Join us to learn about the unique approach Belmont Day takes to physical education and athletics.
Hear directly from Director of Athletics John O’Neill and his fabulous team in addition to several current students and alumni. We look forward to diving more deeply into this fantastic part of our program with you.
Evening with the Head of School and Students, Past and Present – Virtual Event
Wednesday, December 14, 2022, 7 to 8 p.m.
Join us to hear directly from Head of School, Brendan Largay. Learn about his vision for Belmont Day and how our faculty bring it to life on a daily basis for every student.
Meet and interact with current students and alumni to see for yourselves what Belmont Day students and graduates are all about and what wonderful things they are up to in their academic and personal lives.

To participate in any of our admissions events, families must pre-register in order to receive the links to participate. Please follow these steps to register:
- Take a moment to fill out this form. Once you have created and are logged into your Ravenna account, you will see a link that says “apply to a school.”
- Click on “apply to a school” and you will be brought to a directory where you can search for “Belmont Day School”
- Click on “Upcoming Events” which will prompt you to select the name of your student. Once selected, you will see a series of event names and descriptions.
- To register, simply click on the event and select the green “register” button. You will then be emailed a confirmation of your registration.
