Alums Turn Out to Support the Dana Chang ’21 Foundation

April 30, 2025

A great crew of alums, current students, families, and faculty laced up their running shoes to participate in the inaugural Dana Chang Foundation 5K for Heart Anomalies. The 5K run and 1K walk celebrated the life and spirit of Dana Chang ’21, who died unexpectedly in April 2024 of an undiagnosed congenital heart anomaly.

The foundation is dedicated to empowering young artists by providing them with the opportunities, support, and education necessary to pursue their dreams. Additionally, it will raise awareness about the importance of the early diagnosis of heart anomalies.

Thank you to alums Elena Ferrari ’20, Jovana Zivanovic ’24, Aleta Sandoski ’23, Kendree Chen ’21, Vivian Chuang ’21, Sue Kelman ’21, and Ripley Bright ’21 for answering the call to honor Dana.
