2021 Corporation Meeting Honors Outgoing & New Trustees, PA Executive Board Members

At the annual Corporation and Parents’ Association open meetings, held via Zoom on Thursday, May 13, the Belmont Day community came together to celebrate the 2020-21 academic year, honor outgoing and announce new members of the board of trustees and the PA executive committee. This year has been a unique one in the history of Belmont Day and the evening was a time to share our appreciation for the contributions of the many leaders who helped us during this challenging time.

A tremendous thank you to our outgoing members of the board of trustees, Richard Cooperstein ’78, Kristen Lewis, Anderson Santos (faculty representative), and Elise Bayard Franklin (outgoing PA president). Elected to the board as new members are Kim Truong, Mustafa Ulukan, and Nicole Buck (faculty representative). They will join current board members, Thomas Hancock, Catalina Guillermety, Matthew Kadnar, Audra Dainora, Carolyn Atinizian, Kelly Baker (incoming Parents’ Association president), Samuel Bigelow, Kirk Chisholm ’87, Adam Colangelo, Brit Dewey, Jonathan Drummey (faculty trustee), Sasha Ebrahimi, Jill Finnerty ’84, Fritz Foley, Matt Kishlansky, Brendan Largay (BDS head of school), Gretchen Larkin, Sharra Owens-Schwartz, Kevin Plante, Crissy Straub, Elliot Targum, Michael Treisman, Jessica Turco, Natasha Warikoo, and Angel Williams.

The committee on trustees also had the pleasure to announce the 2021-2022 board officers:Tom Hancock, president; Catalina Guillermety, vice president; Matt Kadnar, treasurer; and Audra Dainora, clerk. 

The evening also welcomed the election of two new officers to the PA executive committee: Lia Meisinger, vice president for 2021-2022 and president 2022-2023; and Jeana Colangelo, treasurer for 2021-2023. They will join Kelly Baker, president 2021-2022, and Michele Walters, clerk 2020-2022.

Please join us in expressing our gratitude to each of these leaders for their commitment past, present, and future to making Belmont Day a school defined by excellence.
