STEAM Saturdays is a series of monthly enrichment workshops for children in grades 3 to 6 that will explore the STEAM disciplines—science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Taught by Belmont Day faculty, STEAM Saturdays will focus on innovation, collaboration, and creativity!
In this engaging workshop, students will tackle an engineering challenge. First, they will learn about the physics of zip lines and how gravity, tension, friction, and slope impact how well a zip line works. Then they'll build and test their own LEGO design.
Tickets can be reserved at Eventbrite. Once the workshop reaches capacity, we will operate a waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have questions, or wish to be added to the waitlist, contact Andy Rentschler, Assistant Director of Admissions and Director of Alumni.
