Pre-registration is required to attend all admissions events (on-campus and virtual). Please see the registration instructions at the bottom of the page.
Admissions Open House for Pre-k to Grade 8 – On-campus Event
Sunday, October 19, 2025, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – for pre-k through grade 2 only
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – for grades 3 to 8 only
Come see Belmont Day School’s beautiful campus and meet faculty and administrators. Student ambassadors will lead you on a guided walkthrough of campus, and our dedicated faculty will share insights into their classrooms and curriculum. You will also have the opportunity to hear from our head of school, who will facilitate a panel of student and alumni speakers. Additionally, you can engage with faculty and specialists on a wide variety of topics related to our program, such as music ensembles, the After School Program, and high school placement, at our information fair. Prospective students* and any other guests who may benefit from getting to know our school better are welcome to attend.*
*You know your child best. If you think they would enjoy a guided campus visit, a seated panel presentation, and mingling with other prospective students and families, please bring them along. If you have questions about whether the experience will be suitable for your child, please reach out.

Join us to learn about Belmont Day School’s curriculum and educational philosophy. Our faculty will share their unique approach to engaging students in and out of the classroom and provide a glimpse into how they guide each student on their educational journey, culminating in the eighth grade Capstone project and presentation. You will also hear from our head of school, administrators, and a panel of student and alumni speakers. We look forward to connecting with you virtually!
All About Athletics: An Evening with Our Athletics Department and Student Athletes – Virtual Event
Thursday, December 4, 2025, 7 to 8 p.m.
Join us to learn about the unique approach Belmont Day takes to physical education and athletics. Hear from our director of athletics, members of his excellent team, and several current student and alumni athletes about how our program is an essential part of fostering students’ confidence, leadership, and teamwork.
Evening with the Head of School and Students, Past and Present – Virtual Event
Thursday, December 18, 2025, 7 to 8 p.m.
Join this session with Head of School Brendan Largay, who will talk about his vision for education and how it comes to life every day for each student. Meet and interact with our students and graduates, who will share some of the wonderful things they are up to in their academic and personal lives. We look forward to welcoming you and your students to learn more about what a Belmont Day School education is all about.
Lunch & Learn Online Information Sessions
Join us for a 30-minute virtual information session led by various members of the Belmont Day community. All webinars will include a Q&A portion.

STEAM Expo – On-campus Event
Thursday, February 26, 2026 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Join us for this fun and interactive event. Our sixth and seventh grade student scientists will showcase projects to demonstrate how BDS approaches teaching and learning STEAM through an iterative process of experimentation and exploration. Activities geared toward all grade levels will be available.

Families must register for this event through Ravenna. Timing by grade level:
- Pre-k and kindergarten applicants: 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
- Grades 1 – 5 applicants: 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Grades 6 and 7 applicants: 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
APPLICANTS ONLY: Virtual Literacy Evaluation for Applicants to Grades 1 to 5
- Grades 1 and 2: Saturday, January 17, 2026 (a 15-minute time slot will be assigned)
- Grades 3, 4, and 5: Saturday, January 24, 2026 (a 30-minute time slot will be assigned)
To participate in any of our admissions events, families must pre-register. Please follow these steps:
- Take a moment to fill out this form. Once you have created and logged into your Ravenna account, you will see a link that says, “Apply to a school.”
- Click on “Apply to a school,” and you will be brought to a directory where you can search for “Belmont Day School.”
- Click on “Upcoming Events,” which will prompt you to select your student’s name. Once selected, you will see a series of event names and descriptions.
- To register, click on the event and select the green “Register” button. You will then be emailed a confirmation of your registration.
