Middle School Clubs: Choice and Exploration

January 28, 2020

Pop Knitting, Model U.N., Dungeons and Dragons, and Brush Lettering and Calligraphy—these are some of the clubs options available for middle schoolers this semester. Comprised of mixed-grade groups, middle school clubs meet weekly and are led by faculty and staff who have expertise in or share a passion for a particular topic or activity. Clubs provide students with an opportunity to make choices—each middle schooler chooses two club offerings to participate in each year. The diverse and exciting clubs being offered for the second half of the 2019-20 school year include:

  • Literary Magazine
  • Model U.N.
  • Book Club
  • Beekeeping and the BDS Garden
  • Dungeons and Dragons
  • Roots and Shoots Service Learning
  • Yearbook
  • Brush Lettering and Calligraphy
  • Film and Review Club
  • Open Studio
  • Pop Knitting
  • Canoe Building
