Pre-Camp: June 20 to June 23*

Curious CreatorsPre-k and kindergartenCampers will explore their creative potential through books, arts and crafts, and exploring the environment through sensory and movement activities. A variety of materials and mediums, including some edible crafts, will be part of the creative exploration. Each day includes a free swim period, as well as rest time after lunch. Each child will build a craft portfolio to bring home on Friday.$560
Namaste, Nature and CreativityPre-k to Grade 1Children will explore the school campus and surrounding conservation land through movement, art, and yoga. We’ll learn about the world around us, practice creative expression through a variety of art projects, and, of course, calm ourselves and our bodies with daily yoga. Campers will get a free swim period each day, as well as rest time. On the last day of the session, we will have a parent showcase for campers to show off their art and yoga practice from the week.$560
Summer SportsGrades 1 to 8Summer Sports offers general sports experiences to meet the needs of campers who are multi-sport athletes. Many children are still discovering where their interest and expertise exist in sports so this varied program will give campers entering grades one to eight the opportunity to progress their skills in multiple sports and have choices during the camp day. We will play traditional sports like soccer, basketball, and tennis while mixing in other fun activities and games to keep things fresh. There will be something for every athlete, from aspiring basketball stars to capture the flag aficionados. Campers will get a free swim period each day.$560
Numbers and NaturePre-k to Grade 1This hands-on nature camp will explore the intersection of math and nature by connecting numbers and concepts campers are familiar with to the natural world around us. We will create number-themed art projects, explore the habitats on and around our campus, and play games along the way. Created by Belmont Day teacher Leigh Twarog, this camp mixes art, math, nature, and fun! Campers will get a free swim period and rest time each day.$560
Magic: The Gathering Deck MastersGrades 4-8Seasoned deck-building veterans will lead campers on a journey into the Planes of the Magic Multiverse! Campers will build decks in a variety of different formats, including standard, modern, commander, draft, and more. Campers will be provided with pre-constructed decks to play with and edit over the course of the week that they will keep. Experience with Magic: The Gathering is encouraged but not required.$560

Campers will learn key coding fundamentals while creating fun games that encourage them to keep learning. Using educational coding programs like Scratch and TinkerCad, campers will uncover a design process to create their own interactive stories, animations, and games. They will learn to think critically, systematically, and cooperatively. Along the way, we will spend some time outside, have swim lessons and free swim at the pool, and complete “Mystery Bag” engineering challenges. This program is broken down into two individual weeks that will contain different content. Attending both weeks is not required to participate.$720
Wire Creations and Crafting, Week 1Grades 6 to 9This hands-on, 2-week camp will focus on making—from jewelry to phone holders to keychains; there are endless possibilities to style for oneself or for gifts. Each day will include structured and unstructured craft time, along with swimming and time outdoors. No experience is necessary. Led by BDS teacher Ana Maria Restrepo. This hands-on, 2-week camp will focus on making—from jewelry to phone holders to keychains; there are endless possibilities to style for oneself or for gifts. Each day will include structured and unstructured craft time, along with swimming and time outdoors. No experience is necessary. Led by BDS teacher Ana Maria Restrepo. This camp is both weeks of Session A.

Session B: July 10 to 21

Program Grades Description Cost
LEGO Robotics Level 1 Grades 2 to 4 Campers will build and program their own LEGO robots using the LEGO WeDo and LEGO Spike robotics systems. This two week camp focuses on building programmable robots using LEGO bricks and software. Along the way,  they will participate in other engineering challenges to test their building skills. As the first level of our LEGO Robotics camp, it is appropriate for all experience levels. Campers will also participate in a swim lesson and free swim period daily. $1,500
STEM: Nature Investigations Grades 3 to 5 Along with seasoned naturalist Zach Melisi, campers will explore the habitats surrounding Belmont Day and the plants, animals, invertebrates, and fungi that make up New England forests, fields, and wetlands, as well as the niches they fill in their respective ecosystems. Activities, explorations, crafts, and experiments will illuminate how the natural world functions and what humans can do to both protect and steward the wild spaces we have remaining. Mystery visitors will teach campers more about the natural world around us. Each day includes a free swim period and swim lessons. $1,500

Session C: July 24 to August 4

LEGO Robotics Level 2

Grades 3 to 5

This more advanced LEGO Robotics camp focuses on the LEGO EV-3 Mindstorms, a more customizable and programmable system that builds on everything you learned working with LEGO WeDo. This program is appropriate for students who have completed LEGO Robotics Level 1 or have existing experience with LEGO programming software. Campers will also participate daily in a swim lesson and free swim period.

Post Camp: August 22 to 26

Namaste, Nature, and Creativity Grades 1 to 4 The days will begin with yoga games and asana practice. Children will take walks in the woods, learn yoga chants, and explore the philosophy and history of yoga in a team-focused way. They will create art inspired by the movement, breathing, and guided resting journey of yoga practice. A free swim period is included every day. A personalized portfolio of each child’s artwork will be sent home for your family gallery. On the last day, we will have a showcase for parents to see the artwork and what campers have learned. $700

Voyager Sports Grades 1 to 4 This general sports camp offers skill-building in multiple sports. Each day will include skill drills and mini-games in soccer, tennis, and basketball, along with fun games like kickball or capture the flag. $700
NEW! Ultimate Frisbee Grades 6 to 9 Experienced Ultimate coaches will focus specifically on developing ultimate skills. Campers will hone their throwing and catching, learn the rules and structure of the game, and participate in a number of fun ultimate-themed minigames and scrimmages. The week will cap off with an epic coaches vs campers game! $700

Additional Information

Please note: All of our programs close for registration at noon on the Thursday before the session start date, unless the program is already at capacity. Enrollment after this time may be available, but is at the director’s discretion and may incur an additional late enrollment fee.

Extended Day Camp Sessions A1 through D and Specialty Camps

Morning Extended Day – Drop-off as early as 7:45 a.m.

$50 per 2-week session or $25 per week – pro-rated to $20 for Session A2 (camp is closed for Independence Day)

Afternoon Extended Day – Pick-up as late as 5:30 p.m.

$300 per two-week session – pro-rated for Session A2 (camp is closed for Independence Day) and D (no extended day on Friday, August 18)

Extended Day Pre-Camp and Post-Camp

Morning extended day is not available during pre-camp and post-camp weeks.

Afternoon Extended Day – Pick-up as late as 5:30 p.m.: $30 daily

Payment Terms for Specialty and Sports Camps

  • Payment is due in full at the time of enrollment. Participants will not be registered, and have their space guaranteed until payment, in full, is made.
  • Refunds will only be given in the following situations:
    • Medical or family emergency that was unforeseen
    • If cancellation is made at least one month prior to the program’s start date, less a $50 per-week deposit.
