Athletics Program Wraps Up Fall Season with Week of Celebratory Events

It was a season to remember for Belmont Day Athletics. Among the many firsts were the introduction of the new middle school structure, the addition of junior varsity teams for girls’ soccer and flag football, and the surpassing of the century mark for total number of athletes in the program.

All seven interscholastic teams competed hard and represented Belmont Day with sportsmanship and class. A few highlights of the season included an undefeated 6-0 record for the cross country team, a dramatic 4-3 win at Friday Night Lights for the boys’ soccer team, and a come-from-behind 3-2 win for the girls’ JV soccer team in the final game of the fall.

This week, athletes and coaches put the finishing touches on the season with Team Celebrations, the Coaches vs. Eighth Grade Soccer Game, and the Athletics Sharing Assembly. Congratulations to all of our athletes on a job well done.
