Vacation Camps
During the February and April school vacation weeks, Belmont Day offers programs for children who want to be active, have fun, and explore a new topic. Vacation camp programs are open to Belmont Day School families and the public.
Registration opens for Belmont Day families in December and for returning camp families and the public in January.
February 2027 Vacation Week Program
Wings & Things
Campers will learn about the animals that evolved with wings: birds, insects, bats, and pterosaurs, along with machines for flight like planes, helicopters, and space shuttles. Our specialists will lead campers on an adventure spanning from the Mesozoic Era to the present day, through science, arts, crafts, and an insect zoo!
Grades: Children currently in pre-kindergarten to grade 2
Dates and Hours: Tuesday, February 16 to Friday, February 19, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.| Extended day is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: $37 daily
Cost: $700 (no single-day option)
Red Carpet Experience: Become a Movie Star!
Campers will be cast in a fun script, learn lines, develop characters, rehearse scenes, and experience what it’s like to perform in front of the camera. Along the way, they will build confidence, strengthen acting and communication skills, improve memorization, and discover the importance of teamwork and creativity on a real movie set. The week concludes with a glamorous Red Carpet Premiere to debut the completed film.
Grades: Children currently in grades 3 to 5

April 2027 Vacation Week Program
Life Aquatic
This nautical-themed camp teaches campers about life under the sea by exploring questions like: Where do the mermaids hang out? What can we do to support and safeguard our oceans? What animals and flora inhabit our local coastlines? Campers will discover their pirate persona and how to find the treasure with their crew.
Grades: Children currently in pre-kindergarten to grade 2
Dates and Hours: Tuesday, April 20 to Friday, April 23, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. | Extended day is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: $37 daily
