STEAM Saturdays

We are delighted to launch STEAM Saturdays, a series of monthly enrichment workshops for children in grades 3 to 6, that will explore the STEAM disciplines—science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Taught by Belmont Day faculty, STEAM Saturdays will focus on innovation, collaboration, and creativity!

Workshops will take place on November 16 and December 14, 2019, and January 18, February 15, March 21, and April 18, 2020. The program is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. Seats for each workshop are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis.

STEAM Saturdays: Build a Bristlebot Robot
January 18, 2020, 10  to 11 a.m

Do you think you could build a robot on the head of a toothbrush? Bristlebots are simple, tiny robots that buzz around like bugs. In this workshop, participants will use their creativity to customize a Bristlebot and then watch it go! No prior experience in robotics is needed for this activity.
