Three Thoughts:

My Capstone Project would be… color blindness in France and color awareness in the United States—the historical reasons behind that choice and how it shaped these societies.

One thing that I love about Belmont Day… is that it is often stated here that teachers are learners too. Therefore, I feel free to ask my colleagues for advice or feedback on my practice.

My favorite children’s book is… Le doudou méchant (the bad stuffed toy) by Claude Ponti. This book has no English edition but another one, DeZert Isle is also representative of the author’s style. Ponti has a whimsical universe, his characters have depth and are never oversimplified, and his books have several levels of reading, for adults and children.
