Bring your whole family and step into the shoes of a Belmont Day School student.
What is a Family Open House?
We are a school that puts the child first, and our open house is no exception. We encourage you to bring your children to this event, which follows a set schedule.
What will my family experience?
The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with a welcome from our head of school and a great student and alumni panel. Then, at 10:00 a.m., it is time to become a Belmont Day student.
You and your children will chose from a diverse menu of sample 20-minute experience classes taught by our talented faculty. Your first 20-minute class allows you to delve into our academic program with your child. Your second 20-minute class will let you explore one of our arts or athletic programs.
Following your two experience classes, from 11:05 a.m. to noon, we will offer student guided tours and the opportunity to visit grade level classrooms and meet faculty.
Can I attend without my child?
We encourage you to bring your children, but you are, of course, welcome on your own. We will offer a parent-only session in each class rotation, one led by our director of admissions and the other by our director of high school placement.
What if I can't arrive on time?
The full event runs from from 9:30 a.m. to noon. If you are not able to join us for the full event, you are welcome to arrive late! Enter through the marked event entrance and one of our volunteers will help you check in and join the program in progress.
Do I need to pre-register?
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged! Please take a moment to fill out this form and on the final screen register for the open house. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com.
