Skills Training and Competitive Play
August 18 - 22, August 18-29, and August 25-29,2008

-for children entering grades one to eight-

The Program
Belmont Day School’s Go!Soccer program is dedicated to providing excellent soccer instruction in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Our goal is to give each child the opportunity to learn through participation in skill stations, small-sided groups, and games.  There is an 8:1 child to coach ratio.

Go!Soccer is headed by Aaron Joncas, Director of Athletics at Belmont Day School. Aaron coaches our girls’ soccer team, and has previously coached at The Fenn School in Concord and in the Middlesex Youth Soccer League. He is also the director of All American Sports Camps in Lowell, MA. Under Aaron's guidance our coaches provide positive feedback and lots of encouragement so the players can develop a love for soccer!

Every morning athletes work on skills that they can then apply to their afternoon games. Each day also includes a swim period and an enrichment block, in which athletes meet and work with guest speakers, including past and present professional and college players. Athletes also have a chance to analyze their own skills during a videotaping session.
