The Program
Leadership and on-the job training are what you can expect at Belmont Day School. The program for students entering grades 8 or 9 combines daily summer session activities such as sports, swimming, and arts and crafts with counselor training sessions led by our experienced summer staff. Future leaders will work with junior and senior counselors in supervising activities. At no time will Future Leaders be solely responsible for a group. Successful completion of the program provides an advantage to participants who may choose to apply for a junior counselor position at BDS in the future.
