Career Opportunities
Belmont Day School is a community of 265 children and 74 adults committed to academic excellence and lifelong learning. Our faculty is comprised of homeroom teachers and specialists in math and science, the visual and performing arts, technology, physical education and athletics, woodworking, French and Spanish. Two reading teachers support the classroom teachers in grades one through seven. All members of the BDS community share six core values: honesty, caring, joy, responsibiity, respect, and excellence.

Faculty Coordinators support the faculty in the following divisions:
Primary/Elementary - pre-kindergarten to grade four
Middle School - grades five, six, seven, and eight
Administration
A core group of professionals in the admissions, alumni relations, business,
communications, and development offices supports the mission of the school.
Operations
The school buildings and grounds are maintained by two staff members and our kitchen employs five people.
Teacher Training Program
In collaboration with the Lesley University Graduate School of Education, Belmont Day School’s Teacher Training Program prepares prospective teachers for positions in early childhood education or elementary education. For more information about this program click here.
